Balancing Blood Sugars

Sugar is a major life force and our bodies need it as fuel to feed us. In the case of whole foods, the sugars are packaged with protein and essential vitamins and minerals. Energy is obtained by the body  slowly by breaking down and assimilating these sugars.

When sugar is refined, the natural balance is upset, valuable nutrients are lost. Refined sugar passes quickly into the bloodstream and when consumed in large amounts on a regular basis this has an adverse effect on the stomach and pancreas and the digestive system becomes weakened.
